Philip Shambaugh started working in industrial wastewater at the largest ethanol plant in the world located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. While there, he learned just how useful a good data can be while operating and troubleshooting using PI ProcessBook. He then moved into the drinking water treatment sector in 2020 and works as a Process Improvement Project Manager for ENGIE at the University of Iowa's Water Treatment Plant. Both ENGIE and the university are active PI System users so it was a natural fit to replace their aging Access database with a PI based system.
